Terms of Service
Last updated 10 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PrepareForCAT (the "Service"), operated by [[FILL: legal entity name, e.g. your name as sole proprietor, or the registered company]] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use PrepareForCAT
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Service is intended for adults preparing for the CAT examination. By using it, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
You sign in with a supported provider (for example, Google). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your access secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. What the Service does and does not promise
PrepareForCAT gives you a diagnostic, a daily study plan, practice, mock tests, and a measure of your mastery per topic. It is a study tool. We do not guarantee any particular CAT score, percentile, admission, or outcome. Your results depend on your own effort and many factors outside our control.
4. Free access and paid subscriptions
Parts of the Service are free to use. Some features require a paid subscription. Where a subscription renews automatically, we will tell you the price, the billing cycle, and how to cancel before you are charged, and we will send any pre-debit notice required for recurring payments. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Pricing and plans are described on our Pricing page, and refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, resell, scrape, or redistribute our questions, lessons, or content.
- Do not share your account or use the Service on behalf of others for a fee.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful material.
6. Content and intellectual property
The Service, including its questions, lessons, software, and brand, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. Previous-year examination questions are reproduced as permitted. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own exam preparation.
7. Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers to run the Service, including authentication, hosting, payments, and analytics. Their handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or that put the Service or other users at risk. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
